Autumn bucket list

I don’t tend to do bucket lists, primarily because I prefer to focus on my yearly resolutions that I set at the beginning of each new year. This practice allows me to concentrate my efforts on a specific set of goals, which I find more manageable and less overwhelming than the broad scope of a traditional bucket list. However, after spending some time reflecting on my current approach to setting and achieving my goals, I have come to the realization that incorporating seasonal bucket lists into my routine might actually provide me with a refreshing perspective. These seasonal lists could help me break down my aspirations into smaller, more attainable segments, allowing me to engage in activities and experiences without the daunting pressure of a full 365-day timeline. By creating a seasonal bucket list, I could align my goals with the changing seasons, taking advantage of the unique opportunities that each season presents.
Go on a nature walk
Lately, I've been finding it difficult to go for walks. Because of health issues and pain, a walk that used to take me 30 minutes now takes over an hour, especially since I need to sit down frequently.
Visit a pumpkin patch
This is an activity I've always wanted to try, but I either lack the time or don't have friends to accompany me. Family and work commitments, along with my friends facing similar challenges, make it difficult for these plans to materialize. However, this year, whether with friends, family, my fiancé, or by myself, I'd love to visit a pumpkin patch.
Watch every Harry Potter movie
Although I engage in this activity annually during October and November, I'll still be having a movie marathon with my partner. Popcorn, Harry Potter, and pizza are essentials. Just because it's a yearly tradition doesn't mean it will ever change.
Decorate for Autumn
Around 4-5 years ago, I was very dedicated to decorating for each season. Over the past few years, I've let this habit slide, but I definitely want to start doing it again this year.
Start a gratitude journal
There are several aspects of my life that don't bring me much joy, and I often catch myself complaining about how things aren't exactly as I want them. I think beginning a gratitude journal will help me recognise all the things I should be thankful for, rather than constantly dwelling on the negatives.
Carve pumpkins with my partner.
This is something I've never tried before, and I believe it will be a wonderful way for my partner and me to spend an evening, leaving them displayed on our garden wall for the Halloween season.
Go to a farmers market
Since I can't drive and reside in a small town, accessing farmers' markets isn't always easy for me. However, this year, I would like to visit and explore everything that local farmers' markets have to offer.
Go to a cider festival
My friends and I make an effort to attend a Christmas market festival annually, but I believe that going to a cider festival this year would be a lot of fun and offer a refreshing change from the Christmas festival we usually visit.
Make pumpkin pie with my best friends.
During this time of year, when my friends and I can gather, we enjoy making pumpkin pie. It's a fantastic dish, and although I'm not fond of the appearance of some American foods, pumpkin pie is one of my favourites.
